Orientation

Orientation

It is essential to have a good orientation ability when we go hiking in the mountains. Although today we have many resources at our disposal to prepare our adventures, at the time of the truth, on the ground, we must be able to know at all times where we are and where we have to go. In this sense, the signage of the paths is an essential help for hikers, but sometimes it is not enough to not get lost.

Knowing the orientation techniques will allow us to follow the route and the planned schedules, without shocks or upsets. If we don't know how to read a map or don't know how to operate the compass, the GPS, or our smartwatch, no matter how good they are, they may be of little use.
