Midi d'Ossau - Normal route
We invite you to climb this big small mountain, which is nothing but the remains of the chimney of a volcano, through its regular route and without spending the night in the refuge.
In the first half of the climb, the long scramble is the main attraction of this ascent, more accessible than you might think as you don't need specific climbing training; on the other hand, you'll need to be tied.
Quite a challenge for ambitious mountaineers !!

The Midi d'Ossau, in the Pyrenees National Park, France, is a mountain worth climbing. It is a challenge for hikers who do not climb, so much so that the first documented ascent dates back to before many other much higher and easier mountains, such as Mont Perdut, Vignemale, or Aneto itself.
