The people who form the Mountain Guides of Montserrat team share a deep love for mountains, and especially for the Montserrat mountain. Its impressive, rugged, and rocky appearance captivated us many years ago when we were just starting to hike or climb. Montserrat is, in fact, one of the most unique and iconic mountains in Catalonia, with a key role in the history of these activities.

Today, Montserrat is a Natural Park of immense value, not only for its natural surroundings but also for its historical and cultural heritage. While it is a popular destination for tourists and mountain lovers, it hides many corners that can only be discovered by those willing to explore its paths. At GdM, we are excited to guide you in discovering this amazing mountain, whether walking through its forests and trails or climbing its spires. We aim to share with you our knowledge and respect for this unique and precious environment.

The profession of Mountain Guide is currently regulated worldwide, and in Catalonia by Decree 56/2003. At GdM, we adhere to these regulations rigorously, but we also uphold values of coexistence and respect for nature. Our professional training allows us to transmit technical knowledge, but our true mission is to educate and raise awareness among visitors about the importance of protecting Montserrat, so we can continue to enjoy it.

GdM organizes activities for everyone and all levels. We offer guided activities, climbing courses, trekking, and other nature-related experiences. Additionally, all of these activities are available in Catalan, Spanish, and English.

Welcome!
