Cesc Claramunt

I am a qualified Mountain and Climbing Sports Technician with a long professional career as a guide and instructor for outdoor activities in Catalonia. Over the years, I have worked both for specialized companies and as an independent professional, developing activity programs such as skiing, hiking, climbing, and mountain biking, always focusing on safety, education, and respect for the natural environment.

I began climbing in Montserrat at the age of 16, and since then I have continued exploring its many routes and landscapes with passion. My experience includes numerous ascents in the Alps, two expeditions to the Andes in Peru and Bolivia, and several climbs in some of the world’s most iconic locations such as Yosemite, Indian Creek, Verdon, Vercors, Wadi Rum, Hoggar, Taghia, the Tien Shan (Kyrgyzstan), Malaysia, South Africa, and Ethiopia.

I currently work as a mountain guide and climbing instructor in the Pyrenees and Montserrat, offering professional services focused on training and guiding mountain and climbing activities for all skill levels. 

I am registered in the Official Registry of Sports Professionals of Catalonia under number 010761.
