Moleta de Genessies
Between the 6th and 1st centuries BC, the Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre regions housed pre-Roman tribes generically called the Iberian people. Romanization erased this culture's legacy, which is now just beginning to be known.
Lovers of living in high points, it seems that the Iberians chose the modest Moleta de Genessies to build one of their settlements near Tivissa. At its feet, the farmhouse that gives it its name has always had the same family as its owner ... for nineteen generations!
To improve the ascent to this little gem hidden inside the Tivissa-Vandellòs mountains, we'll enter the Jovara ravines and visit the fascinating La Llúdriga cave.
